I built a model in Netlogo of Girard's scapegoating theory. Agents get in random conflicts. If enough conflicts converge on one agent, it becomes a scapegoat. If conflicts spread too much then the whole community goes extinct. The level of mimesis determines how likely conflicts are to converge.
