The next couple of days go by. Maykanna is helping me get ready to talk to the exec running the show. I'm going to have a medical inspection of my cyberware, and they're installing the monitoring and Neurowave software to get captures and narration for my part in the show.

Maykanna works for Saitomo and was the one who auditioned me. She tells me the Neurowave is just like a simple journaling software. She's done these things before on a smaller scale, says it's actually a lot of fun. I'm scared of not really knowing who I am, but she assures me it's part of the show.

No cuddling or conversation much happens after that as we get ready. The last few scenarios are being presented before the NeuroWave results, and we need to get ready for the next thing on our schedule. I suppose morning sex wasn't on the agenda.

I'm in and out of the back for the next couple days. Maykanna is taking us around picking out outfits and talking about personas we might adopt. She says a lot of these super girly activities are a part of the NeuroWave training. Shopping, brunch, gossip, romcoms.

"The problem is you Delilah. You have no personality. You exist, you make decisions, but your 'self' is almost entirely defined by your environment. At least that's what the NeuroWave read. While not having a sense of self, or desires is good for a worker. Freeze and fawn make bad viewing.
