I guess to the CTV journos in Toronto, Loring might be "North", but it's not in Northern Ontario. It's still well south of the French River and Lake Nippising, which is the official boundary.

I remember when I was on Vacation in the west arm of Lake Nippising as a kid, the dock boys were always world travelled people who just wanted an experience to work. And it does not shock me how far you can travel without a wealthy bank account.
