A 2D illustration of an adult anthropomorphic fox woman standing in front of a purple backdrop. She is leaning over, her purple and red themed alternative attire doing little to cover her massive thighs and hips, as she gives a smug open-mouthed smile and makes the devil horns gesture with her right hand.

An anthro, small adult purple and gray fox woman runs in a panic, her magic causing her to gain so much speed she sets a trail of fire on the ground as she runs.

A small statured adult fox woman tries to get her imp minions to push some stolen dragon-sized beads into her, but the force was too much and the minions get knocked to the floor.

(Now split into panels and including typed text in the Alt Text per panel!)
A short-statured anthro adult vixen has stolen a pearl necklace from a large dragon and requested the help of her three imp minions to "store" the necklace for safe keeping. Text: Noetia: "I-I'm so full I..I'm go-gonna--" Imps arguing: "*Frustrated grunt* Hey! Push me up harder!" "*Anxious whining*" "Stop with the anxiety noises and PUSH! We're almost DONE!" "OWOWOW WILL YOU LET GO OF MY EARS YOU FRAZZLED FREAK!?" "*Sigh* We're gonna fall flat on our asses with this shit, we never should've agreed to th--" "OI! Less flapping of the mouth and more pushing with the body!" "I can't keep my footing between her covering the floor and you pulling my ears!" "I'm slipping--!" A short-statured anthro adult vixen has stolen a pearl necklace from a large dragon and requested the help of her three imp minions to "store" the necklace for safe keeping. The necklace, unable to be contained inside Noetia's small form, bursts backwards, taking her imp familiars with it as they scream in the air from the full force of the launch.

The Ugly Duckling Clam - Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum
Despite its status as a very common local species in Southwest Florida (and far from being an attractive bivalve), the Ponderous Ark, Noetia ponderosa, is one of my favorite local species. There are a few reasons for that. The photo below explores a different angle and lighting to show cool internal features and structures of the shell in that species. Look at the hinge with its many small teeth and the intricate pattern of different scars indicating areas of muscle attachment of the living anim
