I cannot get over the notion Haley Stevens was a plant.

"rein in"

The notion that it's "out of control" is a right-wing fallacy.

J'ai une idée ce serait d'ajouter la notion de séparation des pouvoirs la prochaine fois qu'on fait une constitution.

Yeah I tend to agree. Also though I don’t know much about MI state politics, the notion that she’s some kind of avatar for Black Michiganders always seemed ridiculous.
I actually think it's really good news for Abdul that Haley Stevens did this. To the degree she was any center of moral authority for her Dem primary voters, she has now lost that and now the entire Michigan and nationwide Democratic institutions will be forced to overtly reject this.

Good morning. Back to #mcm. About to shower and get ready for work. No notion for it at all.

Right-wingers like Mahmood despise the very notion of care.

I just find it’s incredibly funny that theres communists who are pretty strongly against the notion of party discipline

Before these last years, I never believed or accepted the notion of inherent evil. I do now. I now see there are some men who are born evil--and there's no greater danger than letting such a man clutch the levers of power & influence the course of history. We still have a chance to save our country.

The notion of Stevens endorsing a Republican being a careerist move seems a bit off given that it basically does nuke her career (all of her staff resigned!) And actually it seems far more likely that she's just driven herself mad online.

His closing message as his party is about to suffer crushing electoral defeat.

I hope this election finally kills the notion that Trump is a skilled politician.

I'm surprisingly delighted by the notion of a pope voting by mail in American elections

The way he actually sniffs himself about Barbie calls him dirty

Like he’s more curious than insulted by the notion

Breaking News: An appeals court rejected a Trump administration effort to impound 20,000 mail-in ballots in California, calling the notion unconstitutional.
Appeals Court Again Rejects Trump Effort to Impound California Ballots
In a 2-to-1 vote, an appeals court panel declined to order the state to set aside more than 20,000 mail-in ballots, calling the notion plainly unconstitutional.

The notion that crypto somehow stands outside of existing financial infrastructure, much less physical infrastructure, has always perplexed me.
A single compromised laptop of one DevOps engineer? And crypto bros still claim cryptocurrency is secure??
I wrote up what we know about the Binance hack so far. By my best estimate, Binance is out $1.5–$3 billion after stablecoin issuers froze what they could. Changpeng Zhao is promising Binance will cover it, but he’s legally barred from running the company.

One can quibble with the artistic choice of casting a young woman in a male lead role, but the notion that it should be illegal under state law is absurd.
Ana Mota, a DFW-area h.s. senior, sought and was cast in the role of Seymour in her school's production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Then her high school fretted that doing so touched on the same issues as a Texas anti-trans law. They canceled her casting, then the show.

She's suing under Title IX.
Female Student Sues for Gender Discrimination After Losing Male Lead Role in Play (Gift Article)
Texas officials feared the casting in “Little Shop of Horrors” violated a state law limiting diversity efforts. The student has sued for gender discrimination.

I had a notion to get myself a pint of plain, and decided to bring Paul Howard’s new book with me, just in case I had a notion once again. 🍺
