The official Notts Pride Badge. A round circle base with different sunburst rays with the progress flag colours which are the rainbow pride flags colours & additional colours such as pink, brown, light blue, black background & white writing. Also, it has “Notts Pride” in capital letters in the centre of the badge. Notts’ font size is smaller than the word, “PRIDE”. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ They are available in Nottingham’s The Pride Shop, £3.99 & all money goes back to Notts Pride to keep it running. The Progress Flag is a further development of the flag, also known as the "rainbow flag." The latter was designed in 1978 to make a positive statement to the LGBTIQNA* community. It contains six horizontal stripes, with each colour representing a specific issue. 🔴Red represents “Life”. 🟠Orange represents “Healing”. 🟡Yellow represents “Sun”. 🌞 🟢Green represents “Nature.” 🔵Blue represents “Harmony.” 🟣Purple represents “Spirituality.” 🌑 Black represents the “People living with HIV/AIDS, those who have died from it, and the stigma around the virus.” 🌑🟤 Black & Brown represent Queer Black people und People of Colour; statement against racism. 🩵🩷⚪️ Light/Sky Blue, Pink & White represents the Transgender Pride. 🏳️‍⚧️ Over time, the flag has been adapted to represent individual groups. It was really nice to come out to #NottsPride tonight! I couldn’t really be blessed or thankful for those who has seen me today. It wasn’t easy for me to come. But, with the right people, it will make it all worth it. I feel a bit underdressed but it will take time to shine.
