at that time i was reading books about how that approach was also fucking up approaches to development aid and global anti-poverty efforts. i guess i hadn't yet connected that with these numbercrunching "liberal" pundits yet and thus forgot about it

Prommy it isn't all numbercrunching out there. There is a beautiful world of tabletop games of all kinds. I once played a real estate tabletop game where you roll dice for how nice or bad things in the apartments you're looking at are and then have to sell it to potential tenants.
