I am exceedingly comfortable with calling Ilan Wurman a fraud and a hack. I've seen his kind of "academic" research before, coming from groups like CIS or NumbersUSA, which I categorize as "white supremacist bullshit generators."

They're awful. Mostly the people as FAIR, ZPG, NumbersUSA, English Only, CAP, and any number of other "population control" and "immigration hawks" groups, with a few other individuals in the mix for plausible deniability

As you point out, there is no pro-immigration counterpart of the broad, focused, purpose-driven anti-immigrant network of CIS, VDARE, FAIR, NumbersUSA, parts of Heritage.
