The funny thing is that the crazies have taken something true (ocps can affect mood/sexuality) and generalize it to all birth control (eg IUDs, including copper ones)

Hemostatic agents are most helpful in patients who have regular heavy bleeding which is not too long in duration. Although there is a black box warning, we do use antifibrinolytics and OCPs together and there is data to show that this is safe.
