OFA Group Unveils Vision for Japan's Next Premier Oceanfront Cultural Destination in Choshi City
OFA Group (OFAL) outlined a phased vision for an oceanfront cultural destination in Choshi City on September 24, 2026. The plan brings together classical music, arts, education, wellness, hospitality and residential living on Japan's Pacific coast.OFA is in early discussions with cultural producers and organizers about multi-year music programming that the company says could begin as soon as 2028. It is also pursuing a private-pay senior living community in Choshi's Tokawa area under a provisional agreement with Choshi City, subject to City Council approval. Site design and regulatory review are underway. Education and hospitality offerings are at an earlier stage of development.
