Hyperscale Data has begun the installation of OPR-R2 robots at its AI facility in Michigan, marking a significant step in real-world data generation for AI training.

Hyperscale Data (NYSE American: GPUS) announced that its subsidiary Omnipresent Robotics has begun installing OPR-R2 robots at the company’s Michigan AI data center. The first unit was assembled on July 16, 2026, initiating a large-scale physical AI and visual data generation program supported by an order of 143 robots.Up to 100 robots are currently anticipated for deployment at the facility, with remaining units expected for partner pilot programs. Hyperscale Data is developing about 100,000 square feet of dedicated robotics space and believes the expansion could support more than 500 jobs over roughly three years, with all program data stored and maintained in the United States.

These units are expected to be assembled and deployed at the company’s Michigan AI data center campus in Q3 2026.This initial batch is part of a planned 143-robot fleet supporting a 100,000-square-foot Robotics Research, Testing and Innovation Center. The robots will aid data collection, model training, simulation validation, and embodied AI development using NVIDIA-based infrastructure.
