A vibrant street art mural on a brick wall depicting a modern take on Johannes Vermeer's "The Milkmaid," where the maid pours bright pink paint from a pitcher into a bucket on a table. Surrounding the main artwork are colorful graffiti tags and geometric shapes in shades of blue, pink, and black. Artist Ruud Kooger.

The tree of life dome of Watts Cemetery Chapel. A masterpiece of the Arts and Crafts Movement designed by Mary Watts between 1895 and 1904.

The beauty of the interior of this chapel is overwhelming. Made with gesso and mixed media reliefs. Texture was created using chicken wire, hemp sacking, hatting felt, ropes, netting and gesso. They also used rabbit skin glue and metal leaf. It was crafted by Mary Watts who trained 70 villagers to help her. It represents a vault of heaven wrapped in a continuous Tree of Life motif symbolising continuity, death and resurrection. My photo is one part of the dome. When you stand in the middle this beautiful art is all around you. It is near the Watts Gallery in Compton, between Godalming and Guildford.
