Found a copy of Christian Giudice's PHD dissertation Traditionalism and Occultism: Arturo Reghini and the Antimodern Reaction in Early Twentieth Century Italy. This will be heavy, but people like Giudice always makes me almost regret I didn't try to go into academia. Almost. #occultism #booksky

The Empire of the original Star Wars was so obviously cribbed from WWII movies that Vader was basically a Rohm/Himmleresque leader of a composite party militia SA/SS (weird occultism, black uniform, "stormtroopers") while the imperial military including Tarkin were Wehrmacht (aristocratic, etc.)
