The Harry Potter octology is a genuine triumph of filmmaking up there with Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy. The fact that we basically got to see the trio grow up in real time as they did in the books was really cool

like, similar to the MCU the quality is inconsistent at best, and ignoring that JKR has been... [gestures] for the past little while, I think that the HP octology managing to let the audience watch the Potter trio grow up effectively in real time was *really* neat.
