JobSmart treats offline-first as a write-path decision. Field edits land in Drift first; supported sync/uploads happen later through Rust/Postgres. The hard problem moves from “can the technician save?” to “how do we converge safely later?”

#deltachat designs are #offlinefirst using delay tolerant protocols. Messages are queued when a path is blocked. email servers are made for this and run at planetary scale.
