This is a great point and I'll add to it by saying a lot of people who claim they get carsick in EVs are really getting carsick because the driver of that EV is using one-pedal driving very badly.
It takes effort and fine pedal control to coast/drive smoothly which lots of drivers do not have.

This! My pet peeve is whenever someone equates 1 pedal driving as an EV must have. Tesla did it because they were too lazy to try and make blended braking work well. 1 pedal is actually less efficient in many situations. No knocks against people who like it, but it isn't "better" or EV table stakes.

I use my car's one-pedal driving mode most of the time and enjoy it, but unless you're really thinking about your passengers and you develop the skill to hold the pedal at exactly the right spot so you can "coast" it's a herky-jerky whiplash-inducing experience.
