Free dumb op ed idea: Why It’s Wrong For Amy Acton to Go No Contact With Vivek Ramaswamy bsky.app/profile/head...
Q: I’m told that Vivek Ramaswamy left you a congratulatory phone call. Have the two of you spoken?

Governor-elect Amy Acton: We can’t normalize behavior like this. It was so beyond the pale, so no, I have no intention of speaking to him. Leaders’ words matter and we need to hold folks accountable.

I will settle for an op-ed in the New York Times about how Discworld says trans rights
If you are a BlueSky power user, they have to give you a column. Thats the law now.
has the New York Times announced the roster of new progressive columnists they're bringing on board, the restructuring and creation of new verticals, and other dramatic steps they're taking to reflect the Real America they didn't properly understand or nah?

Erick Erickson, who once shot a copy of the New York Times with a gun because he didn’t like an editorial in it, has written an op-ed in that same newspaper about what’s normal.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

“Voters want normal people in charge, and they took their wrath out on otherwise normal Republicans who refused to push back against the lunacy, corruption and incompetence within the GOP,” Erick Erickson writes in a guest essay.
Opinion | I’m a Republican. We Have Let Too Many Weirdos Into Our Party.
The G.O.P. cannot allow itself to be defined by its radicals.

Its easier to imagine the end of capitalism than it is to imagine a reasonable @nytimes.com Op Ed page.

Old enough to remember when Team MAGA and half the hand-wringing punditry said Tim Walz has crossed an unforgivable line in saying the Trump acolytes were "weird."

(Thought experiment: Could Walz have gotten an op-ed published saying exactly what Erickson does here?)

Can’t wait for the “I’m a politically homeless comedy assassin” nyt op Ed or Atlantic cover story

Just because he won’t do it doesn’t mean it’s not worth bringing up at every turn. Let his party and his tame op-ed writers and pet talking heads defend that choice.

Christ’s sake, does nobody remember Benghazi?
Trump should just resign. It makes sense for him to resign. Democrats should want him to resign. Republicans should want him to resign. All of the objections are fake.

More and more people are saying it! Here: @brianbeutler.bsky.social
