You might have heard about our GitHub repository on #OpenMicroscopy. I finally vibecoded a page that (a) allows to search all entries and (b) generates a new database as soon as items are added on GitHub:

Please see below for some new #OpenMicroscopy software from the group, and specifically @drnjitram.bsky.social, to quantify structural features in images using rotational Fourier transforms. Pre-print hopefully later this week. Software already on Github. :) 🧪, 🔬
RFT: Analysing angular and structural information in whatever image you throw at it! We have created an ImageJ/Python plugin that can easily extract anisotropy data from images! Give it an image and it'll tell you how anisotropic the structure is!

Last week, the Latin American Hub for Bioimaging Through Open Hardware kindly invited me to speak about our 3D printing work to researchers across Latin America. Great to see so much engagement & positivity about the work. Really great to hear about other research in the #OpenMicroscopy space. 🔬

Looks like large Nikon STORM acquisition files will be OK in ImageJ soon, thanks to the Bio-Formats devs: https://github.com/openmicroscopy/bioformats/pull/1351
ND2: reset series count before allocating offset array by melissalinkert · Pull Request #1351 · ome/bioformats
This prevents extra memory from being used if the series count was too high. See http://lists.openmicroscopy.org.uk/pipermail/ome-users/2014-September/004699.html and the file in nd2/christophe/.
