Die neueste Version von OpenQDA wurde veröffentlicht. Nutzer:innen können ab jetzt Variablen zu ihren Projektmaterialien (Sources) hinzufügen und verwalten. Damit legen wir den Grundstein für die kommenden Implementierungen von Cases

In December 2024, the latest version of OpenQDA, an open source research infrastructure for qualitative data analysis, was presented at a workshop at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin. A report on this has now been published by Roland Toth.

OpenQDA goes public!

ZeMKI is currently developing “OpenQDA”, an open-source software for the qualitative coding of research data (interviews, observation protocols, etc.) and the entire source code has now been published.

On September 18, the OpenQDA-Team gave a presentation “The OpenQDA project: a software architecture for a sustainable open research software for collaborative qualitative data analysis” at the 25th DINI conference in Potsdam, Germany.

Trying out OpenQDA and it's good! Still not a lot of features, but hopefully it'll grow. The Github community seems enthusiastic. I've been using CATMA, but I think I'm moving.

Thanks for asking. OpenQDA is server based, otherwise cooperative work would not be possible. But all data is at a secure server at University of Bremen.

In Köln findet vom 7. bis 9. Mai 2025 die 5. Tagung des Netzwerks Qualitative Methoden an der Hochschule Macromedia statt. Das Thema 2025 lautet Digitale Verfahren in der qualitativen Sozialforschung: Anwendungen, Herausforderungen, Reflektionen.
