The latest version of OpenQDA has been released. Users can now add and manage variables for their project materials (sources). This lays the groundwork for the upcoming implementation of cases and sets.

For open source platforms, there are also CATMA, LibreQDA (a fork of Taguette), OpenQDA, and we'll appreciate if you have a look at Requal too. 🙏

Trying out OpenQDA and it's good! Still not a lot of features, but hopefully it'll grow. The Github community seems enthusiastic. I've been using CATMA, but I think I'm moving.

Auf der Jahrestagung der International Communication Association (ICA) 2025 in Denver gab es bereits erste Projekte, welche die am ZeMKI entwickelte offene qualitative Forschungssoftware OpenQDA in ihren Forschungsprojekten eingesetzt haben.

In December 2024, the latest version of OpenQDA, an open source research infrastructure for qualitative data analysis, was presented at a workshop at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin. A report on this has now been published by Roland Toth.

Welp my 1-year subscription on NVIVO ran out & I wasn’t that happy. Suggestions for intuitive #qda software I can run locally with confidential data welcome. #foss preferred but I’ll pay to avoid too much futzing. #openqda server install a bit daunting for local 1-person use.
