“open methods support reproducibility, reusability and research integrity, particularly within ‘wet-lab’ sciences where pre-registration may not accurately describe the final methods” #OpenResearch
Open methods papers was published yesterday! doi.org/10.36399/9kn...

The answer to the title is pretty much yes. Paper looks at ASAP & other Parkinsons funders and shows the massive difference that clear ASAP policy has on sharing protocols openly.

Not surprising, but nice to show it officially.

Introducing autoresearch for arXiv papers

Change "arxiv" to "autoarxiv" in any paper URL

OpenResearch creates a project for you, sets up an environment on your preferred compute, and runs a minimal reproduction. The agent tracks logs, visualizes runs, and produces artifacts, all entirely local

Horrified this wiki by colour charges for publishing open in an Elsevier journal on top of APC. Often authors don’t realise the implications of using colour graphics in your article. $8k NZD!!!! WTAF! #OpenResearch

The scariest story we've ever heard?

Once upon a time, siloed data, incomplete metadata, and lack of context made it impossible to discover, understand, or reuse important research data!
