#OpenTelemetry-Demo
My advice is to use the opentelemetry demo app to prove it out, that includes these scenarios and should show you.

The backend side should be irrelevant here, as long as the spans have the right parentage and tracestate.

Also think about logging, it uses the SpanContext to populate things.

At KCD Texas, I gave a live demo of an AI agent that lets developers ask their Kubernetes platform natural language questions. I built it from scratch with LangGraph, a vector database, and OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

The application is the #OpenTelemetry demo shop, with its logs sent to #VictoriaLogs, and the incident is staged using one of the demo’s built-in feature flags. The investigation itself is real, and every screenshot comes from that setup.

If you were to ask the question: "Do you consider opentelemetry important for success in maintenance and scalability of systems?"

My answer would be: "Yes!"- the same as if you asked if this demo looks sick 💅

Been spending more time contributing to @opentelemetry.io eBPF Instrumentation (OBI).

Reading and changing a real eBPF codebase has been one of the best ways for me to understand how production instrumentation is actually designed.

The OpenTelemetry demo ships with three storage backends: Jaeger for traces, OpenSearch for logs, Prometheus for metrics.

I swapped all three for one GreptimeDB standalone. The collectors didn't change , only the write address moves.

Hi! This demo showcases how to build a multi-model AI orchestration workflow using the Microsoft Agent Framework, Microsoft.Extensions.AI, and OpenTelemetry, all running in .NET 9. The solution brings together Azure AI Foundry (OpenAI), GitHub Models, and a local Ollama instance, allowing you to connect and coordinate multiple AI models within a single C# console app.

It’s an awesome observability framework with a clear mission and wide adoption!

Please let me know what you think, first time I’ve tried to add in animation visuals to help with explainers 😬
