Close to my home is an old grassland, once used as a military training area. The soil is sandy, dry, and nutrient-poor, and it hosts many members of the #carrotsandpeas family:

✅ Common Vetch (Vicia sativa)
✅ Lesser Trefoil (Trifolium dubium)
✅ Bird's-foot (Ornithopus perpusillus)
