Yurgir wasn't Rae's first orthon to fight and slay, so he knew the fight wasn't going to be easy. It never is with hellish creatures, and it certainly did not help that the knowledge about Astarion's scars—and something else—depended on the orthon's death.

But yeah uh, only death I’ve had, when the orthon threw out a bunch of grenades I had the brilliant idea to blow them up and well. It took out half the party but all the demons too! #art #bg3 #sketch

OH! Wait, this was the one where if you didn’t long rest after the orthon the cut scene never triggered. They patched that but I had already replayed Act 2 by that point.
