#Osci-Render
I'll definitely do a little vid on it! If you wanna get a head start, the VST/software scope is called Osci-Render and it rules.

There's a free version too if you wanna check out the main bits and pieces first.

Oh sick, that's awesome! I remember watching a show of theirs from a rooftop party beside an outdoor venue.

So not an amazing view, but the show looked and sounded great!

If you hit any snags with Osci-Render feel free to give me a shout, the sidechaining feature isn't immediately obvious

Oh very tasty!! Yeah I've got DC coupled outputs going straight into the 'scope X/Y

Re the blender biz, I'm gonna make a little vid about how to button it up, but Osci Render is a glorious bit of software which makes it fairly breezy

Can run as a VST as well, which is a delight!

I'm gonna make a little tutorial video when I can! But if you want a head start, Osci-Render is a *great* piece of software for helping generate the right audio

And it also lets you sidechain another track (ie the one you hear in the clip) to manipulate the image to the beat etc

Waheyy nice one!! Yeah I'll definitely whip something up.

If you wanna get a head start though, Osci-Render is a great bit of software for this. Runs standalone or as a VST, has a built in soft-scope, and totally rules!

Should add that you'll need a way to generate the audio signal to send to it, I'm using Osci-Render as it's very musician-focused and can run as a VST which is nice.

I'm sidechaining the audio you can hear to manipulate the signal, make it pulse to the beat etc etc.

Oh wow, thanks so much! Absolutely gonna be trying this out asap. So cool.

Osci-Render if def worth a look! I'm primarily a music/audio guy so it's nice having something I can integrate into my usual DAW workflow, but it works standalone too.

Plus, options for sidechaining audio to do cool things!

Thanks! Hadn’t heard about osci-render before. Will check it out.

If you want to try out DOOM you can use this: scope.nielsleenheer.com It has various generators, such as Asteroids, the Chrome offline-dino and even an emulator.

Oh this is INCREDIBLE!! Haha genuinely did wonder earlier if a walkable level would be remotely possible and you've got it looking waaaayyyyy better than I imagined. Amazing work.

Using Osci-Render as a VST in my DAW for the signal, feel like I'm scraping the tip of a very tasty iceberg!

like anything except for sample-accurate things (oscilloscope music) because it has forced antialiasing in the generators and a bunch of the snapins but phase plant for regular music and osci-render for oscilloscope music is kind of my stack now . i have been using serum 2 a lot as well tho lately..

"Harmony of the Spheres"

Finally back to Oscilloscope-Music and here I used #synthmaster3 for the sound, spreading the phase of 4 voices to get interesting patterns in the X/Y view.
Adding a bit of Distortion in #Osci-Render.

I so love this! :-)

Thanks to […]

I own a Hitachi VC-6025. It has an 50 MHz analog mode and a very rudimentary digital storage mode (20MHz Fs, 1k samples) but it works for basic debugging of low speed signals.
