We're heading out to a Japanese market near Boston to get stuff for New Years (oshōgatsu). I like nearly all Japanese food, but can't get thrilled about the common oshōgatsu dishes. I'll still probably take photos and post because it all looks so pretty. But I'll be hankering for a pancake.
