If you know Marlowe's translation of the Amores - especially this poem - you'll maybe understand why I'm struggling to capture the text's tone

published a poetry collection with @renardpress.com which took inspiration from our first-year English Literature course

The titular poem - "Salmacis: Becoming Not Quite a Woman" - is based on Ovidian myth
