#OwlCation
I deleted all of my work off HubPages, and I found a counterfeit of my work on its niche page Owlcation. This is a serious problem.

The sight of this unwithering green leaf excites me like red at some seasons. Are not the wood frogs the philosophers who walk (?) in these groves? [Photo Owlcation]

The bite is reportedly painful (more so than a mosquito bite), but doesn't cause any permanent harm.

Closely related moths are known to 'puddle' on feces or tears or even charcoal (again, mostly for salt), but only the vampire moths are known to pierce skin like so much fruit.

La Llorona: Real Grieving Mother Or Just Spanish Folklore?
Photo credit: Vanity Fair Photo credit: Owlcation By Melinda Gordon La Llorona, Spanish for “The Weeping Woman”, is a spectral mother who roams near bodies of water, mourning the children she drowned in a fit of rage after discovering her husband’s unfaithfulness. Her cries are said to portend misfortune or death, and hearing them sends chills down the spine. Pre-Hispanic Roots Scholars link the myth to Aztec goddesses like Cihuacoatl and Chalchiuhtlicue, gods associated with omen-bearing weeping women, war, and water‑linked sacrifices.
