Ärzte ohne Grenzen schickt ein neues Schiff! Die Nachricht kommt etwa ein Jahr, nachdem Ärzte ohne Grenzen ihre Mission mit dem Rettungsschiff Geo Barents im Mittelmeer gestoppt hatte.

Am Samstag hatte die Oyvon, das neue Rettungsschiff von Ärzte ohne Grenzen, ihren ersten Einsatz. 41 Menschen konnten, nachdem sie 3 Tage lang auf einem seeuntauglichen Boot auf offener See waren, endlich in Sicherheit gebracht werden. Sie durften in Lampedusa von Bord gehen.

In der Nacht zu Montag hatte die Oyvon direkt ihren nächsten Einsatz und konnte 27 Menschen aus Seenot retten. Auch diese Menschen konnten in Lampedusa von Bord gehen.
