First up, the Volvo P1800s Coupé. Sold between 1961 - 1973. There's a few resto-mod ones out there that are really slick.

Not suitable for UK roads but maybe it's not aimed at our market...the god awful new Bentleys and RRs certainly aren't either!

This is Irving Gordan seated in his 1966 Volvo P1800S. Irving bought that car new and ran it for 1,690,000 miles by 1998, the world record for most miles driven by a single owner in a non-commercial vehicle. Irv continued to drive it until his death in 2018. He finished with 3,250,257 miles

Aren't these lovely? Most Volvo P1800s I've seen are white, just like Roger Moore's car in The Saint. This red example makes a nice change.

The Volvo P1800S driven by Roger Moore's Simon Templar in the original TV series was a stone-cold classic, up there with Bond's DB5. They obviously wanted to keep the tie-in for the film but Volvo had given up on making good-looking cars by then.
