I've been using PDFgear lately, but I will mostly read a PDF in an internet browser window versus using an adobe product.
PDFgear is pretty good for most functionality purposes though.

Since FoxIt likes to randomly crash on my tablet, and Acrobat is a pile of garbage, I'm trying out PDFGear. It works pretty well, but has like zero features. It basically does single page, continuous scrolling and that's it.

I've uninstalled Acrobat and gone to PDFGear as my default reader. It also has AI options, but they can be turned off.

Yeah, the 8 MB limit is a tough one. I can recommend PDFgear to downsample entire pdfs. 🙃

I use PDFGear, freeware that handles all I need it to, including editing existing PDfs, converting, extracting, splitting etc..
