The faux-joking about this is all mostly in good fun, but let's be clear here: PWB didn't "deliver no script" or "do no work." There were two entire writers rooms. They spent on the development. The studio, under a production head who's now been ousted, didn't ACCEPT the work that had been done.
Gonna take this opportunity to say that I can personally deliver no script for as little as 7 million, and I know some other writers who can do it for as little as five million.
