I was lucky, in hindsight, to have the realization "what I WANT is not always the same as what makes me happy" forcefully impressed on me at age 20 or so. People WANT glurge and pap, then wonder why they aren't uplifted and inspired.

Det minder mig om en skole, jeg arbejdede på for en del år side. Når noget var besværligt afskaffede man ordet: eleverne klagede over for mange vikarer, så det ord måtte vi ikke bruge (så jeg opfandt pap-lærer). Andre elever klagede over at være i kælderen, så det blev til etage -1 (minus et) 🫣🫨

Gal, I said the same thing yesterday 😂 and it's not too diminish anyone elses journey blc that is very real for them. It's scary for all involved who's gotten a DX. There are men who are walking around that don't know what a pap smear is and can vote about our bodies. Let that sink in for minute. 🤦🏼♀️
