in 2020, between lockdowns, I dealt with the US elections by simply doing a 3 day glassblowing course because it’s very hard to be glued to your phone with anxiety when you are twirling spicy honey on a very long stick

in some respects aerial hoop is similar

Crisis plans that never get tested are just paperweights. Test one live drill quarterly.

I’m well known in the world of cartography as the man who put paperweights firmly on the map.

Also it proves he's an idiot with no foresight. If we all give up our RAM, effectively making our PCs worthless paperweights, who's going to be online to buy and use his shitty plaguiarism app?

Enchanted by these vintage cast iron Kewpie Doll paperweights I stumbled upon. I love the juxtaposition of the Kewpie doll and the cast iron aesthetic. It's about the size of a Club cracker. They made a ton of these, there are many available online.

I’ll buy paperweights as patriotic mementos for my kids. A tribute to yesterday’s message to Republicans that the American people are not for sale. We have no kings in the USA.

we're going to end this bubble with $20k paperweights because idiots like this got to write the strategy to SCALE NOW, and we'll all be worse for it.
Fucking jackass.

I've gotten the response back from support and I'm sending them the information to try to get my account back now.

I gotta say it freaks me out that they could close my account and make all of my projects paperweights overnight.

It sucks that there's so many compromises going to other engines.
My Unity account is blocked for some reason. So uhhh... that's cool. Hopefully it can be restored so I can get back to working on stuff.

I've been using Unity for a long ass time, and somehow THIS is going to be the reason I HAVE to move to a different engine?!?

Those are just large paperweights. The text is actually a book, which is why the crease is there.

Also you can look at, and buy a fuckton of books about how or what to draw, and concepts like color theory, but if you end up doomscrolling, getting distracted, or not applying those concepts in study, they might as well be expensive paperweights

Or, perhaps, you just made your stock so expensive, that nobody wants your obsolete paperweights.

Unlocking sounds close to what I want, but experience has taught me to be careful. Over the years, I've occasionally managed to transform perfectly functional pieces of computer equipment into expensive paperweights. Not often, mind you, ...
