Final set of photos from the Great Photography Edit Catch-Up of 2026. Although we didn't know it at the time, this also turned out to be our last 'annual' trip to Parrsboro.

A couple of pictures taken from #3 tee at Parrsboro Golf Course. Yes, we need the sign because golfers will go just about anywhere to retrieve a golf ball.

Unless new storms bubble up later this afternoon, you'll probably stay dry. What's over me currently is drifting in the direction of Parrsboro, Springhill, etc.

The Parrsboro area must be one of the most slept upon regions of the province ecologically.

Victoria Park in Truro.
Parrsboro is more like 1.5-2 hours but the drive from Masstown out through Economy and Five Islands is incredible on a sunny summer day.
Ummmm I like going to Smiley's Provincial Park down closer to Brooklyn/Windsor

home from our annual trip to ship’s company theatre in parrsboro … “bluebirds” was very moving and well done … and a stop for fried clams at diane’s on the way back.

Do some bridge jumping while your on the island as well. Nova Scotia is my fav. Everyone loves the South Shore but my heart is on the Sunrise Trail side and slower parts of NS. Have some fried clams in Parrsboro at the Harbour View restaurant. And go see the Eaton House in Pugwash. ❤️🇨🇦

If you were on the Parrsboro side that’s the facing chunk of the line I think?

Another angry day in the skies: Can see thunderheads building over the Parrsboro area from my vantage on the eastern Annapolis Valley floor. Currently 22.3C, 58% RH, winds 4G12 kph, 1008mb, mainly sunny. #NSwx near #Kentville

I’ve never been to a show at Ship’s Co, though I’ve been to Parrsboro many many times. Poor timing, obviously. Can’t fit it in now
