So Vedic chanting has a bunch of different forms. The first, Samhita Patha, is basically straight forward. Recite continuously, follow the rules of Sanskrit Grammar, linear progression. Om Bhur Bhuvasvaha.
Then you have Pada Patha, where you stop after each word. Om. Bhur. Bhuva. Svaha.

Victoria, our lawyer, started this morning with words from the people who most often don't get to speak about these decisions - trans rangatahi and their whānau. There's some incredibly brave and proud rakatahi across Aotearoa who have lent their voices to this case and I'm eternally grateful.

I think this may be a good time to establish an independent professional association, similar to AustPATH and PATHA, so that these recommendations cannot be used against the community.
