Finally some September fun. 2-3 Firecrest in Nethercourt park this morning, Pied Fly Pegwell undercliff at lunchtime, then this evening a Brambling with Chaffinches and 3 Redstart (2m, 1f) Pegwell clifftop bushes #kentbirding

The Red-throated diver was pretty close to #Ramsgate westcliff at high tide yesterday morning. It must have drifted into #Pegwell Bay as I picked it up again at the mouth of the river at the nature reserve later on. 🙂 #Kentbirding

A nice 1st winter Little Gull on the garage pool at Pegwell with BH Gulls this afternoon. At times it was the closest gull to the path, which was handy for firing off a few shots #kentbirding

An enjoyable few days surveying around Sandwich Bay (despite the rain) with 4 Snow Buntings @ Princes Beach, 6 Caspian Gulls (incl'g 4 different adults between Deal & Pegwell today & a hefty 1st winter seen across the weekend near Deal), & a smart adult YL Gull @ Pegwell @kentishplover.bsky.social
