Last #Periphebrary post because now that it's March, it's time to cross over into #Marchintosh time!

This is the MacPhone by InterMatrix that allowed your Mac to do telephone management. Included are pages from an ad found online that describes functionality. #vintagecomputer #retrocomputer

One interesting computer terminal I have is an unmarked terminal with an interesting processor. While the front, bottom and rear are metal, the black shell is a made of semi-flexible plastic sheet. The processor used internally is an MOS 6505. I have never seen another like it. #periphebrary

#Commodore PETs had hard drives back in the day but they were not very common, likely because of the cost. For #Periphebrary, here is 17.5 megabytes of hard drive space connected to a PET. The D9060 was a 5 MB unit and the D9090 held a whopping 7.5 MB. Things were not small and quiet back then.

Today appears to be MIDI Saturday. I took out my #Roland LAPC-I card and am playing around with SoftMPU on a Sound Blaster 16 with a Roland MT-32 and Roland SC-55 MKII. I gotta say, I think the LAPC-I card might be best #MT-32 set up/sound. #Periphebrary #vintagecomputer #retrocomputer

Can't have a #Periphebrary without a #keyboard. Shown here are two IBM keyboards. The bottom keyboard is the iconic IBM PC Model F keyboard that was paired with the #IBMPC model 5150. The top keyboard is an industrial model used with IBM's industrial line of computers. #vintagecomputer

Today for #Periphebrary we feature the Commodore 8010 modem for the #Commodore PET. It was a rebranded Livermore Star IEEE-488 modem. It's next to Commodore's BBS software from 1982 written by Steve Punter. I believe this was the first commercial implementation of PunterNet. #vintagecomputer

Today starts #Periphebrary! Vintage computer peripheral month. I know, it's not a good name but nothing goes with February.

Here is my original US Robotics Courier HST modem on bottom. I lost the power supply so I bought a newer 56K Business modem (top) and had no idea they were smaller!
