[Ferde Grofé was BOTD in 1892 to compose "Trylon and Perisphere" for the 1939 New York World's Fair.

Inside the Perisphere, you would hear William Grant Still's theme song. The Trylon was mentioned in "Lydia, The Tattooed Lady":
