Saw someone at petsmart adopt a kitten that looks like Christopher and started crying
the PetSmart cashier *volunteered* to me yesterday that she didn’t like that they were already playing Christmas music because she didn’t know how she was going to pay for anything
It’s all anecdotal so take it for whatever you want but I’ve heard from wayy to many people all over they just can’t plan anything right now with the state of the world and people really are frightened in a way idk that we’ve seen since 08’

Our local Petsmart has had FREE dogs and cats for months now because the shelters are full.
Vaccinated, spayed/neutered, ready to go straight from the humane society.
But they bought a $6000 dog.

If I ever need to go to PetSmart after a food or litter shipment fails (surprisingly often!), I always make the mistake of checking on the adoptable cats.
