it's incredible how Trump's messaging is unchanged despite the midterms. He's still saying the last two years are the best in history. Voters disagree!

Great job, academic philosophers. It’s Kathleen Stock, again. She’s been saying this garbage for almost ten years about trans people. Philosophers immediately rushed to her defence. Now she’s doing it about gays and lesbians. You bear responsibility for this.
The Times publishing blatant homophobia then.

Talking yesterday about how difficult it is to get Philosophy grants funded on interdisciplinary panels. A wants to cure cancer. B to decipher ancient manuscripts. C to preserve the rain forest. The philosopher wants to show that two other philosophers are wrong about the mind-body problem.

Hey don't put this one on us philosophers; even Nietzsche wasn't antisemitic before his sister posthumously edited and rearranged his writings.

(Don't ask about Heidegger, though)

Hahaha, "one of the Netherlands' best-known and most influential public philosophers" is wel een bijzondere omschrijving voor de pro-Russische complotidioot en vaccinscepticus die het over "premier Biden" had.

something similar is going on in philosophy rn. everyone is like, 'omg what the hell is going on with AI consciousness/AGI/whatever, help us out philosophers', and so philosophers respond. and then everyone infers that AI is the most important thing in philosophy, which it isn't
