Here is a photo of Tony examining the retro minicomputer that @foobly.bsky.social assembled. He has only dealt with modern computer, and of course he's not as into them as Maggie is, but as a consultant he is concerned about having to learn about ancient computers now.

The DEC Opcodes app just got a nice update. Learn how to write low-level code on mini and mainframe computers; now with PDP-1 and PDP-8 programming tutorials. Especially useful if you have a PiDP-1 or PiDP-8!

You may have seen this already, but there’s a PDP-11 replica that can be driven by a Pi, you can get it in kit form or they will pre-assemble it for you for extra.
