I have a frankensteined kit with a Roland TD-7 (1992) brain, some pintech mesh heads, and a bunch of the old hard rubber drums. It’s gotten me through a lot, and it has MIDI so I can run it through Superior Drummer. But it’s got a lot of pain points.
