"Diddington, Huntingdonshire" sounds like a place you'd invent to poke fun at British place names
Actress Rula Lenska was born September 30, 1947 in Diddington, Huntingdonshire, England.

Are those two missing pilots even still alive?

Did they even exist in the first place?

Do we know their names?

Anything?

Trump: "You call it United Kingdom, Britain, they call it sometimes England. They go back to the old. It's got more names than any other place in the world."

There is a special place in hell for people who work for a presidential administration who decide to air out dirty laundry for a tell-all book, but who won't stand behind it and put their names on the record. Disgusting.

Reform Ltd demand all migrants to England speak English
But it seems no-one at Reform Wales speaks Welsh!

'The list Reform has sent out has all English place names, which are neither direct translations of the Welsh names, or the current Senedd constituencies'

Two axises on which you can place baby names: unique and weird

Optimal names are high unique, low weird. Safe names are low in both. Freak names are high in both. The worst names are low unique high weird.
My most conservative opinion is that you should go to jail if you don’t give your kid a real name. It doesn’t have to be a stereotypical Anglo name. You can make your kid Pedro or Mohammed, those are both perfectly valid real people names. You just can’t name your kid Skyrim or Diet Pepsi.
DOGE: 'You can now get a tax credit for naming your baby after Elon’s kids.'

Trump: 'We’re making baby names great again.'

Me: My kid’s name is X Æ A-Why-Dystopia.

The redactions in the Epstein files are not consistent. In one place it looks like victim names are redacted including redacting the name of an Epstein girlfriend and then in other documents victim names are everywhere. ⚖️🤨◼️◼️◼️

When exactly did place names become “broadly up for grabs because of an election”?

You’re treating this madness as a normal part of a presidential election. It is not and it never has been.
I hope it's clear that I am not defending the name change. It's ridiculous! Nor do I think it's popular. My point about "values" is that once place names are broadly up for grabs depending on who wins an election, they're going to change in ways that you might not like.
