When I can't pay my rent anymore I will simply walk outside and let one of the big cleaners run me over. Once I'm embedded in the padded floor the plastination drones will do the rest.

That "plastination" process is really remarkable. The cadavers can be moved and posed in a very lifelike way.

I have listened to it now. Yes! Love the response of Chinese medicine 🫢. I’m seeing my Bowen therapist on Thursday so will def talk to her (she’s been working with fascia for decades and is interested in plastination). I can see your thinking here re fibromyalgia etc.

Have you seen this video of the phrenicopericardial ligament (mostly visible in the gap), with the breath and heart rate visible? The fascial plastination of these structures, lit up from within, is one of my favorite models to contemplate!

Totally beautiful fascial intimacy.

Ah yes... a £70 tankard of Karlach's chest.
At that price point, I cannot even buy it as a joke.

It reminds me of those Body World plastination bodies 💀😭

Retaining structure, yes, absolutely. It’s essentially what you do to preserve bodies during plastination.

Retaining function, unfortunately not. A seemingly minor modification like adding a neutron the hydrogen in the water of your body will shift its properties enough to wreak havoc.

Gunther von Hagens, the pioneering inventor of plastination who sparked both fascination and controversy, has passed away at eighty-one. His 'Body Worlds' exhibitions, showcasing real human cadavers preserved through his innovative method, attracted millions globally. In accordance with his last wishes, von Hagens' own body will be plastinated. He championed the idea that understanding our anatomy fosters a healthier, more conscientious society.
