It depends which pneumonia vaccine you are getting. The broader spectrum pneumonias is much better than the old pneumovax. If you received pneumovax in the past it’s often suggested that you get pneumovar now.

I had a teen patient with poor titers and ID said give prevnar20 instead of pneumovax which was good because we don't carry pneumovax.

Also, too, scheduled my colo-guard, mammogram (👀), got my pneumovax. Gettin ALL the preventative care (while it’s still legal 😭)

I know the “pneumovax” jab you want to push on gram gram is just a way to make money by killing her. The only jabs she can have are high dose antipsychotics to keep her placid since she has no idea who or where she is.

PCV (pneumococcal conjugate vaccine) e.g: Prevnar 20 (PCV20) or Prevnar 15 (PCV15)
PPSV23 (Pneumovax 23)- the older polysaccharide vaccine.
