ジェリー状のきのこやありとあらゆるきのこがあって、写真撮りたかったけど、それどころじゃなかったので先へ進んだ。上がったり下がったりよじ登ったり水の滴る洞窟を通り抜けたり大変だったけど、岩にぐるりと囲まれてそこから見た空は忘れられない。そこには「話すのをやめて、写真を撮らないで、このボードを読まないで、ただこの景色を見て」と書かれていた。
写真には本当に美しかった景色は撮らなかった。

3時間も峡谷を歩く。

Both Common, Aeshna juncea, & Bog Hawkers, A. subarctica, breed here. Šijec is the most southerly site for the latter (elisabethae ssp.) - photo of a patrolling male. As do both Alpine, Somatochlora alpestris & Northern Emeralds, S. arctica - a closer encounter with a female arctica ovipositing.

Back from a week in Slovenia with @greenwingstours.bsky.social led by Lajos Nemeth. Some highlights follow. An all too brief visit (I could have done with a week or two!) to a legendary dragonfly hot spot - the Šijec Bog on the Pokljuka plateau in the Triglav National Park in NW Slovenia.
Npr. ministrstvo za kmetijstvo bi lahko bilo na Krku, kamp Valamar, med 27. 7. in 10. 8., potem pa še v Logarski dolini na koncu avgusta, samo se moramo še zmeniti, ali bo Logarska ali Pokljuka. Potem pa Kranj oz. lahko tudi ostane v LJ, moramo videti, kako bo promet.

Went to Antholz this year for the men's sprint. Logistics have got to be better in a non Olympics year
Nové Město is about 2 hours away and I know the area decently well.
Pokljuka would be the wild card. I've been to Bled and Ljubljana before, not a bad drive, but do wonder about those logistics

🇸🇪 Just the 3rd career victory in Martin Ponsiluoma's career. Of his prior two one was the 2021 World Championship Sprint in Pokljuka. The man who won bronze on that day was none other than Emilien Jacquelin.

On the shooting I want to add that according to Ola Lunde who was live calling the shot placements for NRK they were almost all 'midt i'. I hope we get a video with the placement like this legendary video, I think from Pokljuka, where he shoots 17 seconds and 4 out of 5 would put the prone down.
