Yesterday I introduced my freshmen to the Puzzle a Day on Polypad and they were both obsessed with the puzzle AND polypad, and I guess that means I should be incorporating more of both! #iTeachMath♾️

For #mathober day 27:bidiminished I tried for a Parabidiminished Rhombicosidodecahedron in Polypad. Will not fold :-( polypad.org/tjsbVJj9afVOVQ Diminished means substituting a regular polygon fo a feature like a cupola.

🎢🧮🍎 A college professor once told me there's nothing like a good slider to understand the behavior of something.
People like to post these fun inequalities in desmos that make wild patterns and it's really fun to add your own parameters with sliders!
