GENEVA: Swiss voters are scheduled to decide on Sunday whether to limit the country’s population to 10 million, German news agency dpa reported. The right-wing Swiss People’s Party (SVP), the country’s largest political party, is seeking to limit the population to 10 million by 2050. Switzerland currently has a population of about 9.1 million. If the proposal is approved, asylum and family reunification would have to be limited when the population reaches 9.5 million.
