Old wooden breakwater at #Porlockweir on the #Exmoor coast.
I love this place..the perfect spot for a pint and a bag of crisps before heading home after a long moorland walk.
It now adorns a wall in Lynton... sold in 2020.

There are rather a lot of #nonnative plants spilling onto the shingle ridge at #PorlockWeir including Tall Tutsan (Hypericum x inodorum) & Purple Toadflax (Linaria purpurea). Not sure what the other 2 are? I didn't see Yellow Horned-poppy...

Along the shingle ridge at #PorlockWeir on the #SouthWestCoastPath some plants: Field Bindweed (which I tried in vain to turn into Sea Bindweed), Common Ramping Fumitory (Fumaria muralis), Scarlet Pimpernel (Anagallis arvensis) & Tree Mallow (Malva arborea).

Some plants along the #SouthWestCoastPath from #Minehead to #PorlockWeir: Ivy-leaved Crowfoot (Ranunculus hederaceus) on damp mud, Common Cow-wheat (Melampyrum pratense) in the woods, Dodder (Cuscuta epithymum) parasitizing the gorse & English Stonecrop (Sedum anglicum).
